INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Skylar Diggins is the runaway winner of the 2009 Indiana Miss Basketball award.

Diggins, who will play next season at Notre Dame, has already been named Gatorade and Naismith national player of the year. Her selection as Indiana Miss Basketball, announced in Wednesday's editions of the Indianapolis Star, came on a lopsided vote by coaches and media.

Diggins, a 5-foot-10 guard, led South Bend Washington High School to a 26-1 record and runner-up finish in the Class 4A tournament. She averaged 29 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.2 assists this season. Diggins finished her career third on the all-time scoring list in state history.
