NOTRE DAME - Notre Dame will play UConn, the defending national champs, twice in 2010.

According to the BIG EAST schedule matrix released on Monday, Notre Dame will play the Huskies twice as part of their 16-game conference slate, which features eight home and eight road contests, with schools playing every other institution once and one team twice(UConn).

Notre Dame will play conference home games against Connecticut, DePaul, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, South Florida, Villanova and West Virginia.

Their BIG EAST road games will be at UConn, Cincinnati, Georgetown, Louisville, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall and Syracuse.
