Crean helps Camouflage Kids

By WSBT News1

Bristol - Indiana basketball coach Tom Crean was in Bristol to help raise money for Camouflage Kids. The fundraising event was held at Elcona Country Club.

Formed in 2005, Camouflage Kids is an Indiana based non-profit (501-c-3) organization that purchases college athletic event tickets for the families and children of our military (all ranks and branches) for a “game-day” experience. All participants receive game tickets, backpacks, t-shirts, food and wristbands all FREE of charge. Preference goes to the children of former, current or upcoming deployed military personnel.

The 2008-09 school year was outstanding as the Camouflage Kids program impacted over 3,200 military children and families. The growth of Camouflage Kids has been significant over the last four years. What started as four (4) basketball season tickets to Fort Carson and the Air Force Academy has now grown to impact thousands.
