It's not the school. It's the paper. I go to Penn, and thats so insulting to hear. Oh just because we got the front page? Really? It's not like we ask to be on the front page. And to let you know, we work just as hard as any other school, we practice to get better, and it pays off. Obviously you don't understand how hard we work to get where we are.

Why is it, when Penn gets beat they get a small article and a picture of a different team next to the story? See Saturday mornings edition. That's a PLYMOUTH picture right next to the Penn story. But win or lose, Penn gets to be on the front page of the sports section. All the rest, no matter how good, get to be in with the others deeper into the paper. No favoritism there eh?

I hope that by next season that the River Valley coaches get replaced!! The young men on that team deserve a leader!! It has got to be hard to want to play a sport,but hardly ever win. I know that River Valley has a grat baseball team, but its sad that they encourage the football team. Its got to be hard being the conference punching bag. Keep your heads up!

When Penn plays real teams(not NIC weaklings), they lose. They will win all 7 NIC games, and lose to Brother Rice, win the sectional(again all NIC teams), then lose in the regional. Maybe you can play Elkhart Christian,and two more cupcakes, then you can puff out your collective chests and say that Penn is still king of the area. Poor Penn. Hey Bring back Geezer. They are about to get wiped off the field by Ben Davis tomorrow night and I guarantee they will be front and center on the tv newscasts as well as the SBT on Saturday morning.
