SOCCER
Youth clinic
The Adidas Coerver Youth Soccer Camp is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 23, in Petoskey. The camp features the world’s No. 1 soccer skills training method utilized by top clubs around the world in their youth system.
Camp sessions run daily from 6-8:30 p.m. and is for all U8-U14 players.

Backyard soccer
The Petoskey Youth Soccer Association Backyard Soccer nights are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 17-Aug. 9 at the CLick Road Soccer Complex.
Players will participate in 20 minutes of technical skill training followed by 40 minutes of 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 games. Players from U8-U12 may attend from 6-7 p.m.; U13 players and older may attend from 7-8 p.m.

Northmen team camp
The annual Petoskey High School team camp at the Click Road Soccer Complex begins Monday, July 23.
Morning sessions run from 9-11 a.m. and comprises technical skill training from the Adidas Coerver staff. Evening sessions run from 6:00-8:30 p.m. and comprise sessions with the Petoskey High School staff.

Charlevoix girls, coaches clinics
The Charlevoix High School girls soccer team will host a STEADY Camp with guest clinician Nora Maguire from Aug. 5-8 at the Charlevoix Township Fields. Cost is $120 per player.
Maguire is a member of the national academy staff of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Camp sessions run from 3-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5; and from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 6-8.
Maguire will also administer a clinic for youth coaches from Sunday-Tuesday, Aug. 5-7. Cost is $40. The clinic will run from 6:30-8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5; and from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 6-7.
