It's been an active off-season for Virginia Tech's men's basketball team, bringing in new head coach James Johnson and his staff, and now they've got a minor set-back for their summer work-outs.

Hokie guard Robert Brown underwent surgery Friday morning on his fractured left foot.

The rising sophomore suffered the injury last week during a workout, and although he's not expected to miss any of the coming season, he won't be participating in any more workouts this summer.
