Eighteen years too late?
This year's Champs Sports Bowl battle pitting the Irish against the
Seminoles is a postseason opportunity Notre Dame missed out on almost
two decades ago.
The Irish proved they were the best team in America on Nov. 13, 1993,
when they clearly dominated the unbeaten Seminoles, 31-24. Lee Becton
