SOUTH BEND -- Kentucky's Samantha Drake spied an open lane to the hoop
and drove inside. In a split-second, Drake's drive turned into an
inspired moment for the opposition.

Devereaux Peters swatted away Drake's shot. Peters then went
coast-to-coast, sprinting down court to lead the fastbreak, reaching
back to take a pass from Skylar Diggins and connecting on a layup in
traffic.

Likewise, No. 3 Notre Dame went the distance, using an 11-0 run late
in the game to gut out a 92-83 victory against No. 8 Kentucky Sunday
afternoon in a college women's basketball blockbuster.

Skylar Diggins highlighted the 11-0 Irish run that saw Notre Dame go
from a 75-74 deficit with 5:08 left, to an 85-75 lead. Diggins hit a
crucial dagger from the right corner, a 3-pointer off of a
