Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te'o graces the cover of this week's Sports Illustrated.
Notre Dame ranks 2nd among college football teams in Sports Illustrated covers.
This is Notre Dame's first cover since the college football preview issue in August 2006, which featured Brady Quinn.
This SI regional edition with Te'o on the cover will be going to all of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Eastern Missouri and almost all of Ohio, as well parts of Canada.
Te'o became the first Notre Dame player two ever intercept two passes against Michigan in a single-game last Saturday. He has been honored by multiple outlets as the national defensive player of the week, and in some instances, the back-to-back player of the week.
