The final pieces of wreckage from the Indiana State Fair stage collapse has been removed from the fairgrounds Friday.

Engineers from the consulting firm Thornton Tomasetti analyzed the damage and scanned the wreckage with lasers to build a 3-D model for several weeks before dismantling the stage in October.

The wreckage was moved and stored in a warehouse on the east side of Indianapolis.  There, the engineers reassembled the stage for further investigation into what caused the collapse.

The stage collapsed at a Sugarland concert on August 13 during the Indiana State Fair.  Seven people died and several others were injured as a result.
