Phoenix, Ariz.: Dixie Schumacher was born on June 26, 1963, in Eureka to Elaine and Lawrence Schumacher. She departed this life on Wednesday July 4, 2012, at the hospice of Arizona due to esophageal cancer.
Dixie graduated from Eureka high school in 1981. She received her Graphics Design degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburg in 2012.
She was engaged to Alan Lesson.
Dixie is survived by her fiancee, Alan Lesson, Phoenix, Ariz.; her children: Nichole (Bart) Bradyn and Brenna Stark, Westminster, Colo.; Natasha (Terry) Carter and Tanner Rice, Thornton, Colo.; Lauren (David) Sault, Westminster, Colo.; Lynn Lesson, Phoenix, Ariz.; her mother, Elaine Schumacher, Aberdeen; grandmother, Rose Kranzler, Aberdeen; brothers: Louis (Rebecca) Schumacher, Waipahu, Hawaii; Tommy Schumacher, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Julie (Michael) Sayler, Ashley, N.D.; nieces: Jennifer Meier, Jessica Sayler, Laura Jantzi, Sarah Saw, Tara Schumacher and her nephew, Jacob Schumacher.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chase Michael Schumacher; father, Lawrence Schumacher; grandparents: Ervin Kranzler, Gottlieb and Emma Schumacher; and her nephew, Kyle Schumacher.
