"Catholic Schools Raise the Standards" is the theme of Catholic Schools week, which ends SaturdayFeb. 2.
The annual Roncalli all-school Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Roncalli High School Gym. Bishop Paul Swain will celebrate it, and all are invited.
A sock hop for Roncalli families is planned for 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday at Roncalli Elementary School.
There will also be a Scholastic Book Fair at Roncalli Primary and Roncalli Elementary Schools during the week. Families, teachers and the community are invited.
Books and educational products, new releases, award-winning titles, children's classics, interactive software, adult books and current best-sellers will be available at the fair.
Hours are as follows:
- Monday: oRoncalli Primary School, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Roncalli Elementary School, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: oRoncalli Primary School, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Roncalli Elementary School, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Wednesday: oRoncalli Primary School, 8-11 a.m. Roncalli Elementary School, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Thursday: oRoncalli Primary School, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Roncalli Elementary School, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- Friday: oRoncalli Elementary School, 8-10 a.m.
