Dorothy Myrena Edwards, 87, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.
Born July 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Alice Walden Leigh. She was a homemaker and the widow of Fred Edwards.
Survivors include two sons, Fred A. (Kay) Edwards and Harold (Janie) Edwards, both of Perryville; five grandchildren, Angela (Chad) Holderman, Jeananne (Greg) Zink, Heather (Jody) Wade, Corey (Audrey) Edwards and John Edwards; and eight great-grandchildren, Lauren Holderman, Morgan Holderman, Catherine Wade, Caroline Wade, Savannah Edwards, Charlie Edwards, Nathan Zink and Natalie Zink.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Rhoda Pollard, Ruby Frost, Mildred Hostetter and Roberta Arnold; and four brothers, Howard, William, Eugene and Horace Leigh.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stith Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Perryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jody Wade, Chad Holderman, John Edwards, Corey Edwards, Greg Zink, Cleo Taylor, Tony Perkins and Pete Bottoms. Honorary pallbearer will be Woody Stigall.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.
