1944-2012
CRAB ORCHARD — Leroy Todd, 68, of Broughtontown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, at his home.
Born May 26, 1944, in Broughtontown, he was a son of the late Leonard and Vernia Reynolds Todd. He was the widower of Trudy Kidd Todd. Leroy had worked for the Whirlpool Corp. more than 18 years and was a member of Gilberts Creek Baptist Church
Survivors include two sons, Michael Lee (Becky) Todd of Broughtontown and Christopher Lynn Todd of Louisville; a daughter, Sandra Denise (Jody) Higgins of Lexington; five grandchildren, Presley Adams, Kenny and Kyle Higgins and Sydney and Jacob Todd; two brothers, Carlos (Joyce) Todd of West Chester, Ohio, and Cletus (Anita) Todd of Stanford; three sisters, Willene Powers, Carol Brown and Brenda Helton, all of Crab Orchard; his best friend, Wanda Faye Hansen; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Todd of Broughtontown.
In addition to his parents and wife, Leroy was preceded in death by three brothers, Delmas, Curtis and Dexter Todd
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Friendship Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Darrell Gentry. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derek, Jason, Tony and Larry Todd and Donnie and Brett Smith.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Saturday and until funeral time at Friendship Baptist Church
McKnight Funeral Home is in charge of services.
