  9. Clark County Retired Teachers elect officers

    The Clark County Retired Teachers Association met at the Bluegrass Heritage Museum for lunch on June 21. The program was presented by Terry Davidson, president of the Clark County Homeless Coalition. She informed the group that a dwelling has been purchased, is currently being renovated and will be open to the homeless in late summer. Officers for 2011-2012 were elected and include, as pictured, Bob Lee, legislative committee; Frances Robinson, membership committee; Dr. Nancy Peel, president; Janet Miracle, secretary; and Mary Martin, outgoing president. Other officers include Ann Sharp, treasurer; Don Pace, health and insurance; and Evelyn Wison, volunteer services. Before leaving the museum, volunteers were informed of special events going on, and director Sandy Stults encouraged everyone to tour the facility.
