Holiday open house

Encore Chorale's "Holiday Concert," conducted by Jeanne Kelly, will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Dec. 19 at Anne Arundel Community College's Pascal Center for the Performing Arts, 101 College Parkway in Arnold. Students and faculty in Anne Arundel Community College's ceramics program and members of the Keramos Club host the annual "Holiday Ceramics Sale" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 26 in the Cade Center for Fine Arts on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. Coffee Connections will host a "Holiday Extravaganza" from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 at Historic Baldwin Hall, 1358 Millersville Road in Millersville. Holiday food drive
Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected at the Chesapeake Hearing Centers' six locations until the end of the year. The centers' goal is 1,000 pounds of food. The Rotary Club of Annapolis' annual "Black Tie and Diamonds" event will be held from 6 p.m to 11 p.m. March 9 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel on West Street in Annapolis. Auditions for Anne Arundel Community College Theater's production of "The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged)" will be held at 7 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, Nov. 19-20, in the Humanities Building, Room 112, on the Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway. The play has roles for three actors of either gender, ages 18-35. They will be asked to read from the script. Actors need to possess strong comic timing and the ability to improvise and ad-lib.
