It is a new year that means you made a new year's resolution. Either making some new friends or promising yourself you are going to lose weight. There is an easy solution to that, just drink milk, 3-Every Day.

Happy New Year! I am Cheyenne Saumier, your 2012-2013 Somerset County Dairy Princess reminding you that drinking or eating any kind of dairy product can help keep your body healthy in a variety of different ways.

My year has been full of adventures. Unfortunately on June 1 my reign as dairy princess will come to an end. So I need to find some girls that would be interested in becoming the 2013-2014 Somerset County Dairy Princess. You have to be at least 16 years old, and have a connection to the dairy industry in some way.

You will have so much fun, you will meet so many new people, and if you are planning on attending college you could receive a $1,000 scholarship. To receive the scholarship you have to complete different things, and it is worth it because you don't realize how many people don't know the importance of milk.

That is why I am looking for someone to be so dedicated to the dairy industry and going around to schools and the community to teach them the importance of dairy just as I have in my past year. Here are a few recipes to kick-off your year in a healthy way. I hope you have a great year, and enjoy these delicious recipes.
