  1. National Louis celebrates 125 years with Pioneer Awards

    It was an evening of accolades for National Louis University, one of the city's oldest private universities, as it celebrated its 125th anniversary with an awards program and dinner to honor its continuing efforts as a pioneer in education. Elizabeth and Jeff Louis and Diana and Bruce Rauner chaired the event and gave out the institution's first Pioneer Awards at a private club recently in Chicago. These awards "recognize individuals who have demonstrated innovation, persistence, and a tremendous commitment to the collective social good with transformative results."
