  1. Guide to May 2013 TV premieres, finales, movies and specials

The May TV schedule is filled with finales, but don't think you won't have anything to watch. The Bluths are back! Yes, on May 26 Netflix with offer up all 15 episodes of the new "Arrested Development" with all the sitcom's original cast intact. Can't wait to learn what the Bluths have been up to, but they aren't the only attraction in May. Syfy will air the final five episodes of "Merlin" beginning May 3. ABC debuts a new crime drama, "Motive," and brings back "Rookie Blue," while A&E kicks off new seasons of "Longmire" and "The Glades." Over at Own, Tyler Perry gives the network its first scripted shows in "the Haves and Have Nots" and "Love Thy Neighbor." It's going to be a busy month, as you can see below. (All times are Central.)

  3. 'Evil' triumphs at box office. Chernin courts Hulu.

After the coffee. Before making sure to get home in time for the game. The Skinny: I couldn't help but notice that some of the "Mad Men" recaps I read last night seemed longer than the script for the two-hour season premiere. I like "Mad Men" and have...

  5. As 'Mad Men' moves into 1968, Matt Weiner talks history

“Mad Men” returned to AMC Sunday night with a premiere that was criticized by some for being too slow – perhaps a touch ironic, given that the episode saw Don Draper and his colleagues ringing in 1968, a year that was anything but uneventful.

  7. 'Mad Men' ratings down slightly in Season 6 premiere

It seems there are some people out there who can resist Don Draper -- hundreds of thousands of them, in fact. The Season 6 premiere of "Mad Men" drew 3.4 million viewers, with half of them falling into the 25-54 demographic. That's not a bad number...

  9. 'The Simpsons' pays tribute to 'Breaking Bad'

"The Simpsons" will pay tribute to "Breaking Bad" in Sunday's opening credits--and it seems the AMC drama's New Mexico drug operation has got nothing on Springfield.  [insert B-word-laced, Pinkman-esque statement of excitement since we can't.] After the...
