    Charlotte Ruth Bowlby, 87, of Carlisle, passed away at her home on Tuesday, Aug.  28, 2012. Born March 15, 1925, in Garrett, she was the daughter of the late Samuel S. and Mary (Orndoff) Walter. Charlotte was also preceded in death by an infant daughter; infant grandson Jesse McMaster; six brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Willard Frank Bowlby; daughters Loretta Snyder and husband William of Carlisle and Linda McMaster and husband Richard of Sligo; grandchildren Jeffrey Snyder and wife Angela of Carrollton, Va., Jennifer Cox and husband Terry of Shippensburg, Eric McMaster and wife Kimberly of Richmond, Va., and Carrie McMaster of Miami, Fla.; and great-grandchildren Aaron Cox and wife Megan, Matthew and Andrew Snyder, Jacob Cox, and Rivers McMaster.  Charlotte was a member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren and was retired from PNC Bank. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, Rev. Roger Forry officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Project Share of Carlisle at 5 N. Orange St. No. 4, Carlisle, PA 17013.
