    In the heated Los Angeles mayoral race, candidates Wendy Greuel and Eric Garcetti are heavily targeting unions, special interests, minorities and the like &mdash; especially the like, a bloc of voters most notable for their displeasure over the spelling of the name "Greuel." Although the needs of these groups are valid and pressing, they come at the expense of voters whose needs are vapid and petty.
