  11. Film review: It's a 'Brave' new world

Longtime readers know that I'm a huge fan of the Disney computer animation division known as Pixar. I love their whimsy, their attention to detail, and their ability to pull on my heartstrings. I'll put in a good word for all of their films, from the highly well-regarded "Toy Story" series to the unfairly underpraised "Cars" movies. Pixar has kept up the good work with their latest offering, "Brave".

SIOUX FALLS (AP) - William Tell lived in Switzerland in the 14th century. That is, if he was a real person. There's a chance he's pure fable. Either way, the fact that he has any name recognition in contemporary America is a testament to the time-...

  17. E3 2012 Booth Spotlight: Disney Interactive

Disney's E3 booth might have been one of the craziest of the show, with each featured game given it's own unique demo zone. Most notably, the game based on the upcoming Pixar film "Brave" was on display inside a miniature forest setup. A new Disney edition of Just Dance was on display, featuring music from both classic animated films and modern day teen-friendly Disney Channel programs. And to promote Disney's fall release "Wreck-It Ralph," a CG film about characters in video games, an old-style Wreck-It Ralph arcade game cabinet was on hand.
