James Carlyle "Carl" Long, of Roxboro, North Carolina, is a race car driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He drives the #41/68 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing. Long was the track champion at South Boston Speedway in 1987, the Street Stock champion at Orange County Speedway in 1990, the NASCAR Winston Racing Series Rookie of the Year at Orange County in 1992 and the recipient of the Orange County Speedway Best Sportsmanship Award in 1993.
