The San Francisco 49ers may be favored in the Super Bowl match-up Sunday, but Baltimore Ravens fans seem much more rabid about supporting their team in New Orleans.

The evidence?

Immediately after the 49ers beat the Atlanta Falcons on Jan. 20 to advance to the championship game, online searches for flights from San Francisco to New Orleans jumped 110,526%, compared with the off-season, according to a study by the online travel search engine Kayak.com.

But when the Ravens beat the New England Patriots on the same day, searches for flights from Baltimore to New Orleans soared by 236,540%, according to Kayak.

And in the week after the playoff victories, searches for flights from Baltimore to New Orleans remained higher than queries for flights from San Francisco.

The Ravens last appeared (and won) in the Super Bowl in 2001 while the 49ers played (and won) in the big game in 1995.
