A belated congratulations to members of the Enzian Theater staff who were promoted this fall in a restructuring of the leadership at the Maitland theater.

Henry Maldonado remains president of Enzian Theater.

Christy West, Enzian's food and beverage director, and Hollie Mahadeo, general manager, are now responsible for all of Enzian's general operations.

In addition, Elizabeth Tiedtke has been named Executive Vice President. She'll be focused on strategic planning, with an emphasis on setting and attaining Enzian's long-term goals.

West began her career in the food-service industry at the age of 15. She was promoted to general manager of a Friendly's family restaurant at age 18, making her the youngest person in that company's history to head a restaurant.

Mahadeo joined the Enzian team in 2011 with a diverse background in fine arts, hospitality, administration, and marketing. She was familiar with the theater, having been a patron of movies there and the Florida Film Festival for years.

Tiedtke graduated magna cum laude from Rollins College with a degree in economics. She then earned a grande diplome in culinary arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York City and afterward returned to Winter Park and Enzian.

Under her leadership, Enzian has amassed substantial operating reserves for two consecutive years.
