OK, who needs a last-minute Valentine's Day idea: Soprano Natalie Cordone and baritone Shawn Kilgore are reviving their cabaret "Hooray for Love!" on Thursday, Feb. 14.
The duo performed their show at famed New York cabaret club Don't Tell Mama last fall. Thursday's performance will be at Taste restaurant, 717 W. Smith St., Orlando.
Cordone and Kilgore, backed by a band, will perform love songs that range from Marvin Gaye to Andrea Bocelli to Frank Sinatra.
They are familiar faces on Central Florida stages: Kilgore played Billy Bigelow in the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra's "Carousel" last year and starred in Mad Cow Theatre's "Company." Cordone will join the Orlando Philharmonic as Smitty in this season's "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and has performed in several shows at Winter Park Playhouse.
Backing the singers are band leader Jeff Brown on piano, Jerry Bravo on upright bass, Barry Smith on percussion and Dick Bonenfant on additional instruments.
"Hooray for Love!" plays at Taste restaurant on Thursday, Feb. 14. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and consists of two sets of music and a brief intermission. A full dinner menu and bar are available (come early to eat). Tickets are $15; go to .
