"Lend Me A Tenor" takes place in 1934 at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, where renowned tenor Tito Merelli is set to sing the lead in "Otello." Before the star even leaves his hotel suite, however, everything starts to fall apart.
The fast-paced farce was a hit on Broadway and in London's West End and was nominated for nine Tony Awards in 1989. A Broadway revival was staged in 2010.
The Center is located at 2411 E. Hwy 192 in Kissimmee, a half mile east of the Turnpike, at Exit #244. For tickets and information, call 407-846-6257, Ext. 0 or go to http://www.ocfta.com.
