The Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H) will present its next Family Days program at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19. This month's program takes place in the A&H's Telephone Museum, 221 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland.
Titled "Invention & Innovation," the program will explore the invention of the telephone and its importance in society then and now. Participating families will create fun and imaginative inventions of their own.
Family Days at the Museum takes place the third Saturday of every month. Each program is approximately 45 minutes in length, and families are encouraged to stay as long as they would like and enjoy the A&H museums. Admission to Family Days at the Museum is free with regular museum admission of $3 for adults, $2 for seniors 55 & older, and for children 4-18 years. A&H Members and children younger than 3 are admitted free.
Future Family Days at the Museum programs are a Presidential Party at the A&H's Maitland Historical Museum on February 16, and Finding O' The Green at the A&H's Maitland Art Center on March 16.
