A great combination of food, wine and culture will be available from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at Crooked Tree Arts Center.
This event is the second in a monthly series of gatherings called Swirls. The evening events feature wine, appetizers and live musical performances. The events are held in the art center's gallery space. That means attendees can check out the gallery artwork while mingling, tasting, sipping and enjoying the atmosphere.
This holiday wine market event will feature six tables of wines to sample. Several wine representatives will be on-hand, as well. They can answer questions about wines and offer pairing suggestions for the holidays. Order forms also will be available to help guests prepare for upcoming holiday meals.
In addition to the food and drink, the juried photo exhibit titled From Farm to Frame will be on display in the lower level gallery during the event.
Tickets are available for $15 at Crooked Tree Arts Center, 461 E. Mitchell St., Petoskey. Tickets also may be purchased online or by telephone at (231) 347-4337, to be held at the door. Only 100 tickets are released for each Swirl and the art center typically sells out on the day of the event. So far, about half the available tickets remain.
