Detroit-based DTE Energy Co. says 120,000 of its southeastern Michigan customers lost power in the overnight storm, and about 84,000 remained blacked out late Sunday afternoon.
Jackson-based CMS Energy Corp. says the storms knocked 75,000 of its customers across the Lower Peninsula off line, and about 9,500 were without service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
WWJ-AM says winds toppled some ice sculptures at the Plymouth Ice Festival.
The National Weather Service says blustery winds continued Sunday, with 6 p.m. temperatures ranging from zero at Ironwood in the western Upper Peninsula to 23 at Monroe and Troy in the southeast.
