    The White House announced today that Vice President Joe Biden will travel to Shanksville, Pa. on Tuesday, September 11 to deliver the keynote remarks at the annual September 11th observance at Flight 93 National Memorial. The memorial honors the 40 passengers and crew of United Flight 93 who lost their lives in disrupting the attack on the nation's capital on September 11, 2011. The vice president previously visited Shanksville in 2010, when he delivered remarks at the dedication of the memorial on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. In addition to Vice President Biden, remarks will be delivered during the ceremony by Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar and Patrick White, President of the Families of Flight 93.
