American racecar driver Gregory Biffle was born on Dec. 23, 19969, in Vancouver, Wash. He gained national attention when he raced in the Winter Heat Series in 1995-1996. He dominated the series championship, leading former ESPN announcer and NASCAR champion Benny Parsons to recommend Biffle to Jack Roush. In 1998, he won the Rookie of the Year award.
