1. Decision time looming for Heat player options

South Florida Sun Sentinel
The clock already is ticking. Within two weeks the decisions have to be made. Yes, there are greater priorities for the Miami Heat at the moment, namely these NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, which continued with Sunday's Game 5 at the AT&T...

9. ASK IRA: What was the net gain of Heat lineup switch?

Q: So now who does Erik Spoelstra replace Mike Miller with on Sunday? He turned into Shane Battier. He wasn't even looking to shoot. Isn't that why they started him? -- Jorge.

11. Small ball again provides big boost for Heat

South Florida Sun Sentinel
Change tends to be a gradual process for the Miami Heat, calculated, rarely rushed, seldom spontaneous. Based on the magnitude of Thursday's Game 4 rout of the San Antonio Spurs, as well as Friday's tone of coach Erik Spoelstra in the wake of that...

13. ASK IRA: Should Bosh have been whistled for flop?

Q: Ira, regarding Chris Bosh's "flop," it would make sense to call the flop at the time of the play, and make it a penalty of some sort at that moment, whether it's a foul or, in my opinion, a technical foul. It's a coward's way out to fine a player the next day for a flop. A fine does nothing as far as having meaning to the game itself. If it is, indeed, called a technical foul at the moment, fewer players will flop. What is meaningful is how flopping affects the play on the court at the time. By the way, there is an offensive flop, when a shooter kicks his leg out to create contact with the defender, which is an offensive foul. -- Martin.

17. Magic need to keep eye on Doc Rivers

The Magic need to keep an eye on a game-changer who might be available at any time — or by the time they have big money to spend in a few years. He's a champion, a defensive whiz, a motivator, a leader to the stars. He knows the ins and outs...

21. Miami Heat's split personality adds intrigue to NBA Finals

Your guess is as good as anything LeBron James can muster.
Your guess is as good as anything LeBron James can muster. Which Miami Heat team will show up Tuesday for Game 3 of the NBA Finals? The one that looked tired, old and somehow boring in a Game 1 loss to San Antonio? Or the one that rode a 33-5 second-...

23. Spurs' Green, Neal, Leonard causing fits in Finals

They don't expect a repeat performance of Game 3. San Antonio Spurs guards Danny Green and Gary Neal are too smart to believe they will combine to score 51 points again. What they can guarantee is continuing to take advantage of when teams focus on...
