Last August, the <a href="http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/broward/">Broward County</a> Athletic Association prohibited member schools from practicing between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. This year, the Florida High School Athletic Association adopted Policy 39 with practice guidelines for the first 14 days of the season.
