    A Roanoke synagogue is being seen in a brand new light thanks to a popular artist. The Beth Israel Synagogue is located on Franklin Road. Local artist Eric Fitzpatrick was inspired by the beautiful building so he painted a piece he calls "Friday Night". Sunday afternoon, the original was on display and prints were available for sale.
