    She never reached the stars, but Enterprise has finally reached the deck of the U.S.S. Intrepid, making it the first space shuttle in history to land on an aircraft carrier.&nbsp; And it took some doing.&nbsp;&nbsp; The shuttle that was built as a non-flying prototype never lifted off the pad, but was lifted by a mammoth crane that gently eased the 150,000 craft into its new permanent home on the rear deck of the legendary WW2 carrier.
