When asked about two characters in "Creative Writing," a piece of short fiction published in The New Yorker last year, Keret said he thought it would be interesting "to create a couple of characters who were just as fucked up as I am." The Israeli writer will talk about, among other topics, his latest bestselling short-story collection, Suddenly a Knock on the Door.
