    <span style="font-size: small;">Most rivers in the region have flood warnings in place that don't expire until over the weekend or early next week. This means the rivers/creeks/streams/etc. will continue to rise and be higher than normal and flooding in those areas will still be an issue for a longer period of time. This is because all of the rain eventually filters into these basins. While the rain may have stopped, the water takes a while to drain from your yard and travel to these bodies of water.</span>
