    There is no question that this winter by West Michigan standards has been a very mild one.&nbsp; Believe it or not, through January 2012, Grand Rapids has experienced its 2<sup>nd</sup> warmest winter on record with an average temperature of 32.3 degrees which is 5.5 degrees above normal.&nbsp; Muskegon is also on track for its 2<sup>nd</sup> warmest winter of record with an average temperature of 33.8 degrees, nearly 7 degrees above normal!
