Slated to run from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m., the benefit will be held at Austin's Saloon and Eatery Fuel Room, 481 Peterson Road, Libertyville, Ill. It will feature music by two popular local bands, Left With Tomorrow and The Breakfast Club, along with silent and live auctions, raffles, prizes and pizza.
Golf Club in Wadsworth, Ill., a RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon ride, six tickets to a Cubs game and a season pass for hockey at Glacier Ice Rink in Vernon Hills, Ill.
Those attending will be asked to make a $10 donation at the door, and everyone is welcome, children as well as adults. All funds raised at the event will benefit Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The benefit serves as a memorial to Michelle Radke, the daughter of Donna Radke and sister of Jennifer. Michelle died at 29 in 1997 from complications of diabetes, which was first diagnosed when she was 2 years old.
