Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is back at the Mayo Clinic, his wife Ald. Sandi Jackson confirmed on Tuesday.

Jackson has been on medical leave since June, with bipolar disorder. 

On Monday, Congressmen Bobby Rush and Danny Davis spoke to the media about meeting with Jackson. They urged the public to be patient.

Voters haven't heard from Jackson since he took a surprise leave back in June until a robocall to constituents over the weekend.

Jackson has been the second district congressman for 17 years, and he remains on next month's ballot, even though he hasn't campaigned for re-election.
