Democratic U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Junior’s 8-year-old son  stole the show after Tuesday night’s win when he climbed on stage and danced.

In a video taken my WGN-TV producer Pam Grimes, Jesse Lewis Jackson III -- or Tre for short -- moved to the music of Terisa Griffin and her band. His 12-year-old-sister Jessica sat next to Griffin and watched her brother rock out.

In the 2nd Congressional District contest, Jackson coasted to a big win against long-time foe Debbie Halvorson, a former congresswoman. He had 71.2 percent of the vote to Halvorson’s 28.8 percent with 99 percent of the unofficial vote counted.

Halvorson told reporters that she conceded defeat.
