LAMBERTA ‘BERTIE’ GLADYS DOMINGO
Lamberta "Bertie" Gladys Domingo, 90, of Winchester, widow of Tony Domingo, passed away Sunday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.
A native of Wisconsin, she was born July 11, 1921, to the late John S. and Maggie Stone Gayhart. She was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by seven children, Phoebe (Ray) Moses of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Ilene (Jim) Henry of Beach Park, Ill., Ethel Townsend of Burlington, N.C., Frank (Wilma) Domingo of Twin Lakes, Ill., and Virginia Owens and Kathie (John) Schweikart of Winchester; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Gillman of Florence; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Dee Gayhart; and three sisters-in-law, Ann Canull, Joyce Gayhart and Lynn Gayhart.
She was preceded in death by one son, Lon Gillman Jr.; son-in-law, Wayne Townsend; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Father Frank Brawner will preside over a Mass celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Carpenter, Catina Daniels, Alicia Gillman, Angel Montoya, John Owens and John Schweikart.
