Tina McCord, 63, of Winchester, wife of Gary McCord, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, at her home.
Mrs. McCord was born in Phyllis, Ky., on March 1, 1948 to the late Denver and Effie Williamson. She was a retired telephone operator for Bell South and AT&T from 1968 to 1984 and was retired as the business office manager for the Early Childhood Development Center and the Clark County Association for Handicapped Citizens. She was also a member of the Calvary Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Ronnie Slone (Lucretia) of Winchester; a daughter, Christie Slone of Winchester; two stepsons, Brian McCord ( LaTanna) and Robbie McCord (Kim) of Winchester; three granddaughters, Erica Adams, Kelsey McCord and Kylee McCord; two brothers, Dennie Williamson of Jonancy, Ky., and Bill Williamson of Burkesville; and two uncles.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Scobee Funeral Home.
Other arrangements are pending with Thacker Memorial Funeral Home in Pikeville. Burial will be in the Annie Young Cemetery in Pikeville.
