CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Kyle Thomas, 23, of Paris, was charged Friday with driving under the influence (second offense) and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
Reports
— At 1 p.m. Saturday, Angela Taulbee of 212 Honeysuckle Lane reported that someone splashed paint on her car.
— At 9:08 p.m. sunday, Dorothy Reed of 311 Jameson Way reported that cash was taken from her purse in her home.
— At 10:42 p.m. Saturday, Thomas Hernandez of 5109 Van Meter Road reported that someone damaged a car that was parked in his driveway.
— At 5:24 p.m. Friday, Earl A. Pasley of 2799 Schollsville Road reported that a known female took his car and has not returned it.
— At 10:09 a.m. Wednesday, Alice Wilson of 2386 Basin Springs Road reported that someone took her medication.
— At 1 p.m. Sunday, Steve Haskins of 3250 Colby Road reported that someone entered his residence and took medication and an iPad.
CLARK¿COUNTY¿FIRE
— At 4:01 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a grass fire at 15 Colby Hills Circle.
— At 4 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a possible truck fire on Interstate 64 near the 99 mile marker.
WINCHESTER¿FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, emergency personnel conducted three local transfers and five out-of-town transfers. They also responded to 15 general medical calls, one stroke, three cardiac cases, one respiratory case, one motor vehicle accident, three diabetic cases, three falls, three seizures and one engine assist.
— At 4:25 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 48 1/2 Smith Ave. for an apartment fire. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the windows and heavy smoke from the front and rear of the building. All the occupants were standing outside when firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire is under investigation and the residents were taken to a hotel for the night. The building is owned by Lynn Hopkins.
