PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Authorities in Washtenaw County say they believe a body found in a pond is that of a 19-year-old driver who disappeared three days earlier after crashing his car into a condo complex.

Pittsfield Township public safety Director Matt Harshberger says a maintenance worker at Weatherstone Condos called Saturday morning to report finding the body at the Ann Arbor-area complex.

The Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/S13Tx4 ) says investigators are using dental records to confirm the dead man is Nathan Tracy of Trenton.

Witnesses say they saw a car crash into a carport and parked truck. The witnesses say they saw a man matching Tracy's description remove some items from the car and wander off.

Harshberger says police believe that Tracy was high on alcohol or drugs.
