Why mess with success? New episodes of its Friday night dramas brough home another win for CBS with a 6.0 rating/11 share among households. ABC was second with a 4.5/8 while FOX and NBC tied for third place with a 2.6/5 each. The CW was left far behind with a 0.8/1.
Among 18 to 49-year-olds, ABC was also tops with a 2.4. CBS held a 2.1 over FOX's 1.7 and NBC's 1.1. The CW was last with a 0.5.
CBS started off at 8 p.m. with "Ghost Whisperer," 6.6/12. ABC came in second with "Wife Swap." The return of FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" to its new night tied with NBC's "Howie Do It," with a 2.4/4 for the hour. The CW started off its evening with repeats of "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Game."
At 9 p.m., "Flashpoint," brought CBS down to a 5.7/10, but still handily won the hour. ABC held on to second place with "Supernanny," and FOX was solidly in third with the much-hyped premiere of the new Joss Whedon series "Dollhouse," 2.8/5. A new episode of "13: Fear Is Real" mustered a mere 0.6/1 for The CW.
ABC took the 10 o'clock hour -- and had the highest-rated, most-watched show of the night -- with "20/20," 7.0/12. CBS slipped down to second with "Numb3rs," 5.7/10 and NBC finished off the night in third place with "Dateline."
