November Weather and Records
Here is a look at the normal weather and some of the records that exist for this month.

Temperatures
Normal highs start at 54° on the 1st and drop to 41° on the 30th. Normal lows fall from 37° to 27°. The record high for the month is 82°, set on the 1st in 1950. The record low is -7°, set on the 25th, also in 1950. November 1950 is the only month on record in which a monthly high and monthly low were set in the same year.

Precipitation
There is normally 3.39" of precipitation in November. There has been as much as 7.78" (1927) and as little as 0.37" (1917).

Snowfall
There is normally 7.7" of snow this month. The snowiest November was in 1977, when 30.3" fell in South Bend. The least snowy was most recently in 2001, when there was none.

Length of Daylight
On the 1st, the sunrise was at 7:17AM EST, and the sunset was at 5:39PM. This gives a length of daylight of 10 hours and 22 minutes. By the 30th, the sunrise will be at 7:52AM, and the sunset will be at 5:16PM. This is a length of daylight of 9 hours and 24 minutes. The net loss is 58 minutes for the month
