Toasty Temps Again...

Today, temperatures are going to be the story again. We'll top out in the mid and upper 80s across the Ozarks. With the muggy dewpoints, it'll feel more like the low 90s when you factor in that heat index. Isolated storms are possible, but mainly along and north of Highway 44. Some of these could be strong with gusty winds and small hail.

Tracking Strong Storms

A few storms have reached severe limits this afternoon across central Missouri. These storms have mainly dropped heavy rain and some small hail. We haven't heard reports of any damaging winds yet. These are all developing off an outflow boundary or a "mini" cold front. This boundary is drifting south and triggering storms along it. They should weaken as we go throughout this evening.

with Pop-up Shower Possible

Today, a weak ridge of high pressure will zoom down to the Ozarks from the Upper Midwest. This will clear out some of those showers from Monday - along a cold front. There is a chance for a pop up shower, but no organized weather is expected.
