Stars and high clouds will prevail overnight with lows dropping into the middle and upper 20s for most areas.  More high clouds are expected Thursday, along with breezy south winds.  Highs will be very Spring-like, with temperatures in western Kansas topping out in the middle to upper 60s to lower 70s!  Central and eastern Kansas will be in the middle to upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

We'll see more wind into Friday as a storm system over the southwest states gains strength.  Rain and even some rumbles are possible for the west late Friday afternoon and evening.  We are not expecting severe weather at this point though.

As the storm system moves closer to Kansas on Saturday, we'll see more wind and even better prospects for rain and thunderstorm activity.  By Saturday night, rain and a few rumbles are possible in the east while snow will develop in the west.  Some light accumulation of snow can't be ruled out in the northwest.

A colder and blustery day will greet us to close out the weekend.
